"Family Member" as opposed to "Resident"
We believe that our Fostering Seniors Program is a great way to enrich the lives of seniors faced with the inevitability of leaving their home. This is a positive, viable, and cost-effective solution for seniors who have the option to move to one of our alternative family care homes.
"Fostered" in an alternative family care home, where there is one-on-one and familial care, is a much easier transition for a senior than to face the trauma of moving to what they might consider to be an institutional setting. No transition is easy on a senior, or for anyone else for that matter, but moving to one of our alternative family care homes with a family who will care for them, would take far less adjustment for them.

Our Family Advisory Coordinator (Mary) is available to speak with family members, in confidence, if there are sensitive matters that need to be addressed in a timely fashion.
